The protection that Turquoise is believed to keep the person wearing it from emotional and physical harm. It is the stones themselves are powerful. It is thought that when used with copper the stone becomes extremely powerful. A lot of the jewelry made by the Native Americans includes the powerful and beautiful stone.

Amber, which is not actually a stone, is also used to create this type of jewelry. Although the scientific definition does not considered Amber a stone, many people give the material the gemstone classification. All through history the gem has gathered a number of meanings that are used globally. Amber is said to cure various ills such as kidney problems, heart troubles, and headache. In addition, Middle East people believe it symbolizes courage.

Amethyst is a beautiful color. If you have a piece that is purple it most probably is made with amethyst. At one time, amethyst was considered to be quite valuable. However, the stones have lost value over time. Additionally, a sizable supply of the stones was found in Brazil which makes the pieces easily affordable for most people.

The belief that is attached to amethyst is that it prevents people from getting too inebriated. The thought was that anyone who drank from cup made from amethyst would not become drunk. In addition, there is a belief that the stone offers spiritual insight and promotes good behaviors. Also, many believe tat if a person wears the stone they will be increasingly honest and they will have their mind will be quiet and peaceful.
