World's 2nd richest country records 2,101 restaurant closures in first seven months

Singapore saw 2,101 food business closures between January and July this year, an increase of 25.1% year-on-year amid rising costs and high rents, according to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
